Chicken Foot Ancestral Altar Broom

Ancestral Altar Broom

An ancestral altar is a place of tending. The water is refreshed, the offerings are changed, and the names of the beloved dead are spoken. Sweeping that space becomes another act of care—a way to clear away what does not belong and keep a place ready for those you honor.

Made with chicken feet and chicken feathers, this ancestral altar broom is prepared for spiritual sweeping and protection. Each broom is blessed with Van Van incense smoke and anointed with protection oil, then laid in a bed of protection herbs before being packaged and shipped. That preparation is part of the work carried into your home.

Keep yours beside your ancestral altar and use it when refreshing the space, before prayer or offerings, or whenever the altar needs spiritual attention. Sweep gently outward, with the intention of clearing unwanted influences and preserving the altar as a protected place of remembrance, relationship, and devotion.

Reserve this broom for your ancestral space. Remove spent offerings and clean surfaces as needed, then use the broom for your spiritual sweeping. Keep the feet and feathers dry, and store away from candle flames.

Made with natural animal materials; appearance will vary from broom to broom.

Please note that these are not black pullet chicken feet.
