Community Love Jar – August: No Justice, No Peace
August’s theme is No Justice, No Peace, and in matters of love, peace requires fairness. Love should carry reciprocity, respect, honesty, and care. This month’s Love Jar is set to bring relationships into greater balance, strengthen mutual devotion, and draw love in which both people are valued and treated well.
This working is for those seeking new love, strengthening an established relationship, repairing a bond after hurt, or dealing with an imbalance in affection, attention, commitment, or effort. It supports reconciliation, honest communication, mutual desire, loyalty, and the restoration of tenderness where resentment has begun to grow.
The jar will be built on rose petals for affection and emotional healing, damiana for desire and romantic attention, and hibiscus for passion and attraction. Lavender will be added to encourage peace between lovers and soothe conflict, while licorice root will strengthen influence where stubbornness has prevented movement. A touch of vanilla will sweeten communication and restore warmth, familiarity, and pleasure to the relationship.
Each petition will be written by hand and dressed with Love Oil before being placed into the jar beneath pink and red candles. Pink will be worked for affection, reconciliation, tenderness, and emotional healing, while red will strengthen passion, desire, and active romantic attention. Passages from the Song of Solomon will be prayed over the work for love and desire, along with Psalm 85 for reconciliation, mercy, and the restoration of peace.
This month’s Love Jar centers on relationships being brought into right order: affection returned, effort reciprocated, wounds addressed, communication restored, and love given room to become peaceful again.
Suggested Alignment:
Light a pink candle and say, “I am loved with care, treated with respect, and met with equal devotion.” Pay attention to reciprocity this month. Give affection where affection is returned, speak clearly about what you need, and follow through on the promises you make to the people you love.
To be included:
Send your full name, date of birth, and your petition. Include the other person’s name and date of birth when applicable. Speak plainly about what needs to be restored, strengthened, reconciled, sweetened, or made right within your love life.
