Community Protection Jar – August: No Justice, No Peace

August’s theme is No Justice, No Peace, and this month’s Protection Jar is built around the right to live without being continually disturbed by someone else’s malice, interference, or harmful behavior. This work is set to establish strong boundaries, expose trouble, and keep each participant protected while justice runs its course.

This working is for those dealing with enemies, harassment, gossip, spiritual attack, workplace hostility, family conflict, crossed conditions, or people who refuse to leave well enough alone. It also supports those involved in disputes or difficult circumstances who need protection while matters are being resolved.

The jar will be built on angelica root for strong spiritual protection and authority. Hyssop will cleanse away harmful influence already present, while rue will guard against envy, malice, and the evil eye. Bay leaf will strengthen authority and victory, black mustard seed will scatter hostile intentions, and rosemary will keep the mind clear so that fear and confusion do not interfere with good judgment. Red pepper will add heat and force to the work where stronger defense is needed.

Each petition will be written by hand and dressed with Fiery Wall of Protection Oil before being placed into the jar beneath red and white candles. Red will be worked for strength, courage, defense, and victory, while white will be worked for cleansing, peace, and protection. Psalm 91 will be prayed over every name for refuge and safety, along with Psalm 35 for defense against those actively causing harm.

This month’s Protection Jar centers on securing your peace and protecting your ability to pursue justice safely. Your home should feel like your home. Your work should remain yours to build. Your name should remain clean. Your path should remain open. This work establishes a strong guard around all of it.

Suggested Alignment:
Light a white candle and say, “My home is guarded, my name is protected, and my peace is secure.” Keep your doorway swept and clean throughout the month. Be careful with personal information, document serious problems when appropriate, and maintain firm boundaries with anyone who has repeatedly shown harmful intentions.
