Community All Jar Bundle – September: Guidance From the Blood

September’s Guidance From the Blood All Jar Bundle brings all five community workings together—Health, Love, Protection, Money, and Sour—under one ancestral altar. This month’s work turns toward the knowledge carried through the family line: how our people healed, loved, provided, protected their own, and handled those who brought trouble to their door.

All five jars will be set together and worked as a complete altar. The Health Jar will be worked for healing, strength, endurance, and the restoration of the body and mind. The Love Jar will support affection, reconciliation, devotion, and relationships with strong roots. The Protection Jar will establish defense around your name, home, family, work, and spirit. The Money Jar will draw prosperity, opportunity, provision, and the resources to build something lasting. The Sour Jar will address enemies, interference, gossip, malicious intentions, and people whose actions need to be stopped and turned away.

The altar will be fixed with the full range of roots, herbs, and curios appropriate to each condition. Angelica, rosemary, hyssop, eucalyptus, ginger, chamomile, and life everlasting will support healing and endurance. Rose, damiana, hibiscus, lavender, vanilla, and magnolia will feed love and lasting bonds. Rue, bay leaf, black mustard seed, devil’s shoestring, and other protective materials will guard the work. Bayberry, alfalfa, five-finger grass, cinnamon, patchouli, sassafras, and magnetic sand will draw prosperity and strengthen provision. Vinegar, peppers, alum, sulfur, poppy seed, and other souring materials will be used to trouble hostile intentions and weaken those who persist in causing harm.

Each petition will be written by hand, dressed with its appropriate condition oil, and placed into the corresponding jar. Blue and white candles will be worked for health, pink and red for love, red and white for protection, green and gold for money, and black and red for the Sour Jar. Psalms and prayers appropriate to healing, love, prosperity, protection, and deliverance will be prayed across the altar throughout the month.

The ancestors of each participant will be acknowledged during the work with respect for the many forms of knowledge that allowed a family line to continue. Some knew how to heal. Some knew how to make money stretch until everybody ate. Some built businesses, homes, and property. Some held marriages and families together. Some could recognize trouble before it crossed the threshold. Some knew exactly what to do once it did. September’s altar honors all of that practical ancestral intelligence.

This month’s complete bundle centers on inheritance in its fullest sense. We inherit stories, habits, names, skills, warnings, recipes, instincts, strengths, and lessons learned at tremendous cost. Guidance From the Blood asks us to use that inheritance well, strengthen what deserves to continue, and build something worthy of the people who will eventually come after us.

Suggested Alignment:
Create a simple ancestral place in your home with a glass of fresh water and photographs or written names of your deceased family members. Say, “To those whose blood runs in me and whose lives made mine possible, I remember you. Let your good sense remain in this family. Let your strength continue through my hands. Help me care well for what you helped bring into being.” Spend September learning something about your family that you did not previously know. Ask about an old recipe, a business, a marriage, a migration, a piece of property, a family saying, or the person everyone called when trouble came.

You may write a separate petition for each jar or one larger petition describing what you want strengthened, healed, protected, prospered, and handled during September. You may also include the names of deceased ancestors you wish to honor in your own prayers while the community altar is being worked.
